Tennessee Getaway...

It was time again for another one of my marathon trips to Tennessee for work... over 1000 miles in 2 days and a visit to every poe dunk town in the state of Tennessee... much like the one i did back in June... well this time the hubs came along from the ride. It was a nice little break from the crumb snatchers and we enjoyed some much needed quality time just the two of us. We arrived in Chattanooga Sunday night checked in and then went to dinner here... we like trying new places when we are away... however this one was not that great... we were kind of disappointed in the food... And since the kiddos were not in tow hubby was "very excited" that he became the new photo prospect... poor guy
Monday we rode up and back down the mountain along side the Ocoee... it was really a beautiful drive... the trees were all changing colors and they were so pretty... of course i made hubby stop so i could take pictures... such a good sport... and then he said he felt like an old retired couple b.c i wanted a picture of us with the pretty background...
and a drive by past the Titian's Stadium just for Jackson... my lover of football and all things related Monday Night we ate dinner at a fabulous restaurant in Nashville... KK used to live there so we called her for a recommendation and she did us right... it was amazing... you know the place is good when you have to wait 2o minutes on a Monday night... if you ever go to nashville GO eat there...and this my friends is a picture of heaven in a basket... holy smokes these things were the BEST... my mouth is watering just thinking about them... yum=oh!!!!!! Yep... another picture of us after dinner... i think this is the most pictures we have taken just the two of us since the day we got married... LOLAfter dinner we walked up and down "the strip" and checked out all the "honkey tonks"... there was some pretty sketchy folks hanging around so we headed back to the hotel...We had fun... lots of talk time... lots of car time... lots of food... but i think we are both very glad we don't "travel for a livin'"!
i also know why i don't take pictures with my "dinky" little point and shoot camera... b.c wow this pictures are pitiful... i guess it doesn't help we had to take them of ourselves... but i guess they are memories either way! Thanks honey for "Drivin' Mrs. Shelly"!
