Tonight we celebrated KK's (my aunt karen... my mom's sister) birthday with some yummy steaks my dad grilled out, baked potatoes, salad, and this BIG OLE chocolate cake!

On a totally different note... today was not the best day in the world for me... you know it was one of those days where if you did not have bad luck you would not have any luck at all! Yeah that was me... It all started with brylee being a pain in the tail getting ready for school and was 20 minutes late to school, then I went to work and had to reload excel on my computer b.c who knows where it went which took more time that I had, then I left and went to get my hair cut and highlighted and on the way had a blow out and had to pull over and call my dad* to come rescue me... apparently I ran over something in the road b.c there was a hole in my tire about the size of your pinky finger, then when I was at the hair salon the girl washing my hair started having chest pains and shortness and breath and they ended up calling 911 and taking her away in an ambulance... this all happened before 1:00. Thankfully the afternoon and evening was uneventful.
* I have the best daddy in the whole wide world... he canceled his lunch appointment, came and got me on the side of the road, took me to my hair apt and dropped me off, went home and changed clothes (b.c it was pouring down rain), came back to my car, jacked it up, took my tire off, took it to the tire place (beyond repair... just got those tires in dec.), bought me a new tire, went back and put it on, after all that i was done with my hair apt, he came back to pick me up and took me back to my car which was all fixed. If you have a daddy that will do that for you considered yourself blessed b.c I certainly do... if you don't have an amazing relationship with your daddy my heart breaks for you b.c I don't know what I would do with out my dad (or my mom for that matter)! On a side note my hubby is a teacher so for him to come and "rescue" me would have been a little bit more challenging seeing that he might not be able to leave 30 ten year olds by themselves... however I did send him an email about it all and told him he had to promise me that he would be the best daddy ever to brylee when she was older... that was payment enough for me!
