Basketball is over... thank goodness! I love all sports and love to watch Jackson (and Brylee) play sports but this quite possibly was the LONGEST "sporting" season of our life. It started out all fine and dandy but then it when down hill FAST! Our team was pi-ti-ful!!!! We did not win a game the whole season... I know it is not all about winning... but really... it gets old. Our coach... well... lets just hope he doesn't read my blog... b.c to put it nicely just b.c you played pick up basketball in your neighborhood once when you were 10 years old does NOT qualify you to coach 5 and 6 year old basketball... b.c surely that was his only qualification... b.c if he played in high school or God forbid college... i would not tell anyone if i was him... yes it was realllllly that bad. I hate to say it but Jackson learned NOTHING this season and he did not know much before he started and i can say he was more confused at the end of the season than he was before he started. I can definitely say richard and I learned a valuable lesson this season... if richard it not going to coach the sport jackson plays (which i do not want him too, he needs to play for other people) then we will request a coach from here on out for this very reason.... b.c we all but wasted our time, money, and effort on basketball this season!
None the less I ended up with some pictures of a cute little ball player...
who enjoyed his role of throwing the ball in every time....
and running up and down the court...
how cool is that picture... love it!
Praise Jesus it is BASEBALL season.... my favorite!
I totally understand. My DH coaches basketball and I feel like a single mother when it's basketball season. I know Kyron and soon to be Kaden will want to play every sport.
