Christmas Day at GoGo and Grandaddy's

After everyone enjoyed what Santa brought and breakfast had settled we headed over to GoGo and Grandaddy's to open presents with them. We made the kids watch Richard and I open presents first and you have thought we told them they were never going to get to open their presents. Needless to say patience was not their strongest character trait that day... but they survived and then it was their turn.
Brylee got a new northface jacket!
Jackson opened up a pair of zig tennis shoes...
which might be the ugliest shoes on the plant...
but as you can tell he was beyond excited to get them...
We are in the process of redoing their rooms...
so they got some things for their rooms
brylee got a new bulletin board...
and jackson got a picture of the alabama locker room
and his name is on one of the jerseys...
then it was time for them to find their big presents...
they go on a scavenger hunt to find them...
they love this part... they even ask my mom if she had done a scavenger hunt for them...
brylee went first...
reading the clues...
which led her to her favorite present...
her American Girl doll....

then Jackson went... and he opened.... a brand new REAL baseball glove...

as you can see he is so excited...

then they opened their stockings and got kinds of stuff in them... they did them at the same time so i kind of missed most of the pictures from watching... and they opened some presents as well...

brylee was excited about her american girl high chair that connects to the tableand jackson loved his alabama basketball shorts more american girl clothes...

and the funnest present of all... as i said we are re doing their rooms... and we are adding some alabama stuff to jackson's room... well when we were in atlanta we went to ikea and got jackson a new khaki and red duvet cover and a pair of red curtains... well i told my mom to wrap them up and give them to him for christmas... well he opened them up and said "what are these" check out his face....

it was so funny... needless to say he really did not get them as a real present... they gave him money but it sure was funny when he opened them up. ha! :)

and of course brylee and kk played lots of american girl... the living room turned into a beauty salon and they were rolling her hair...

We had a great Christmas at GoGo and Grandaddy's and we all got lots of presents of course more than we needed!!!
