We went to the lake for July 4th weekend. We left the morning of the 4th (in the rain) and headed down there. I think it might have been the rainy-est July 4th ever. It rained and rained and rained. But then there was a a little break in the rain so we all headed to the boat for a little fun on the water before it started to rain again. As you can see the kids loved every minute of the tube and the knee board.
We even found a way to pull the tube and the knee board at the same time... that made everyone happy!
The Fireworks show was canceled Thursday night but rescheduled for Friday night so we all loaded up and headed to watch the fireworks. A few pictures on the pier and porch of everyone all decked out in their red, white, and blue!
We ended up leaving on Saturday because of the rain; 4 kids and 6 adults makes for a long weekend when you are stuck inside most of the time due to rain! :(
