BBTN Girls Weekend... Part 2

during the bbtn girls weekend... we had the privilege and honor to be photographed by Susanne King... a fabulous photographer.... welcome to Senior Pictures... fourteen years later...do you think i should get the year in the corner? don't misunderstand... i feel very "honored" to have a professional picture of myself ( i am certain my kids are going to want these one day for something other than christmas presents for the garbage men or a dart board)... but i certainly felt like a complete DORK while getting it done... i now know how my kids feel... camera in the face, people "fixing" this and that (which I am grateful for) and telling you to say certain words or saying and doing "funny things" to make your laugh... thank you lindsay... i am not knocking susanne's photography talent at all... she is fabulous...her subject on the other hand... don't you think a nice glossy 8x10 will look lovely on my husband desk at school... i am sure his 5th graders would appreciate that... wink, wink! Perhaps I should have chosen the cheer leading pose... darbs i think you have proven you are far from geriatric... aren't you glad you did this before P90X??? how many of you would like to see this on the front cover of the bbtn fall 2010 catalog...perhaps we could photoshop the 2t tu-tu on her... i think it would be fabulous... dont you?? or perhaps the buddy pose... good lord lindsay what are your telling this poor girls... :)

the group photos were a ton of fun as well...picture yourself laying on the floor and a photographer on an 80 foot ladder over your head... i was thinking good lord please don't drop the "car" (aka camera b.c it cost as much as a car) on us... and of course she did not.... she is so talented and come out with this...

I like to think of this as the sardine pose... b.c we were packed into a corner like sardines... good thing we were all "sure" and freshly showered...

Sticking with the cheer leading theme... we all did a little lean lean lean... surely you did that cheer back in the day... it was our favorite...

In all seriousness... susanne king is a fabulous photographer that was so sweet and patient with all of us and our questions about our cameras and made picture taken oh so fun! I highly recommend her for your pictures... she has 2 children of her own so she is great with kids as well... visit her here!
