Birthday and Baseball

Saturday richard and I took jackson to breakfast at Waffle House (his choice) and celebrated his birthday with daddy since daddy will be in Washington DC on his real birthday and gave him his gift from us too!

jackson has been wanting an ipod touch for months but so sorry i am just not willing to spend that kind of money on one for a 7 year old... so we got him an MP3 player instead... he was equally excited and could not wait for me to download music on it so he could "take it to school and listen to it on the bus"... i mean really don't know so much about that? He had a baseball game that evening and i was my turn to bring snacks and jackson wanted me to make baseball cupcakes for the team so i did! He was so sick at his game... bless his heart. He has ANOTHER sinus infection (that makes 5 since january... yeah we are headed to the allergist soon) and this time they gave him a steroid to see if that would help... well "Mom of the Year" gave him the medicine right before his game along with zyrtec and singular with no food... he had lunch 3 hours ago i thought that counted as food... uh NO! He was such a trooper and played but he felt terrible and you could tell... poor guy! He definitely "took one for the team"! He ate a few bites and passed out on the couch very early and the woke up and got sick and went back to sleep... he was pitiful! trying so hard to smile and eat his cupcake... he took 2 bites... i knew when he passed up a cupcake he was sick... poor guy! He woke up fine Sunday until i gave him his medicine this time on a full stomach and it still made him sick... so i stopped giving it to him and we will call our ped on monday and see what we should do. He feels 10,000 times better and enjoyed his birthday!
