A Special Birthday and Delivery...

Last night we celebrated grandaddy's birthday... we enjoyed chicken fettuccine and i made him a lemon ice box which is his favorite... we love you so much grandaddy and hope you had the best birthday day!brylee, grandaddy, & jackson (doesn't he looks like he has the flu... PA-LEES)
And look who is baaaacccckkkk......
Good Ole Jordan Lee!
Jackson has been wanting him to come back for weeks now... he has talked about him all week... he is OBSESSED with this little guy; which makes me one happy mama... holding onto the Christmas Magic as long as we can! So he was so excited when he woke up this morning and Jordan Lee was on the Christmas tree. Brylee is the one who in years past doesn't like him... but this year i think we might have turned a corner... she is actually "talking" to him and showing just a little more interest in him than she has in years past. :) Here starts the fun with our little mischievous elf!

Thanksgiving Weekend...

We had a great Thanksgiving weekend full of lots of family, food, and fun! We ate brunch at my parent's house and dinner at my uncle's house.
love these two little turkeys
turkey #1
and turkey #2
Jackson loves to go to uncle don's farm and ride his four wheeler... there is so much land to ride around and he even found out a way to "get some air" on his little rides... yes GoGo had a heart attack and grabbed baby brooke and wished and hoped that they were that size in her arms and not jumping hill on their four wheelers! :)
wild man jack...
Landon was so kind to be the shaffer of the evening and take everyone for rides around the farm on the golf cart... we all had so much fun with Landon... aka Justin Beiber! :)
Friday was an early morning of Black Friday Shopping and then the bama boys went to the Franklin's house to cheer on the tide and Auburn girls went to GoGo and Grandaddy's to cheer on the tigers!
Our House Divided...
and I must say me and my brylee girl were pretty excited to come home with a win!
War Eagle!!!!
Saturday we went and did one of my favorite Christmas traditions... paint christmas ornaments with their hand prints on them. We have been doing these since Jackson's first Christmas and we have one from every year. They are my favorite ornaments to pull out every year... i hope to have a tree full of them one day! :)

Then we went to GoGo and Grandaddy's and ate left overs... i love me some thanksgiving leftovers... somethings to me are better the day after! :) And then my little turkeys went for a ride on brylee's fourwheeler around the circle... these two are too funny! We decorated the outside of our house Saturday afternoon and are still working on the inside... we have the tree up and decorated but not much else. We had high hopes of finishing that today but my Jackson man woke up at 2:30am running a fever... so off to the dr. we went today and he has THE FLU! I never dreamed he had the flu and of course he doesn't act the least bit sick and wants to go outside and play football and basketball and is most disappointed when i told him all he can do is sit on the couch and watch tv! Bless his little heart... being sick is no fun!

I hope you all had a great thanksgiving weekend and are gearing up for the most wonderful time of the year.... CHRISTMAS!!!!!!

Not only is it thanksgiving week it is also IRON BOWL week... sweet mrs cathy called on Sunday and told me she had the kids a surprise she wanted to bring them by.... and this is what she brought them...

Happy Iron Bowl Week!

Cousins...

Saturday richard took jackson and brylee to the lake where they had thanksgiving lunch with his mom's sisters and their families. Of course since i was not there to be the family photographer this is the only picture i have from the day (and it is not a very good one either and my poor child looks like little orphan annie)... bless daddy's heart...well... he gets an A for effort! :)

Brylee's Thanksgiving Feast

Brylee had to disguise a turkey so it would not get eaten on thanksgiving day... so she decided she would make it into Hello Kitty. I think we did a pretty good if i do say so myself! :) Her class had a thanksgiving feast on Friday... they had a great time make apple dumplings, butter, cornbread cakes, and then they had a snack of popcorn and juice!
Brylee and her little group of friends...

Alabama Football Game

Last Thursday Night Daddy and Jackson went to the Alabama / Georgia State Game. They scored some free tickets from Tara and Casey (two teachers at richards school)... they were so sweet to give them to Richard so he could take Jackson there. Most fans could have cared less about Georgia State on a Thursday night... but not when you are 7 years old... a Alabama Game is an Alabama Game! They had a great time walking around campus, visiting the Bryant Denny Museum, the game, and Jackson's favorite part was when he got to go to The Stadium Room. Nonnie and Poppie were so sweet to give richard and jackson their tickets so they could experience this "AWESOME" place as both of "my boys" described it. Jackson could not stop talking about the alabama cupcakes, alabama m & m's, and the mash potato bar. Thank you Nonnie and Poppie I don't know if we will every get Jackson back to a game without such first class special treatment! :) sorry these pictures are terrible but richard would not take my "big camera" he only took the little one and it takes pitiful pictures if you ask me... oh well at least i have pictures!

Busy Little Bees....

we have been some busy little bees around here... finally this week i think i can breathe and not have 1 million things on my plate and can play catch up on this little blog... by the way our family pictures went great... well all things considered when you have one that smiles and looks like a jack o lantern, one in the fake cheesey smile stage... one that his eyes are ALWAYS closed no matter what... and of course me who never likes any pictures of myself...other than that they turned out great... i have picked out my favorites... i know you are all jealous that you did not have to go through 655 pictures and narrow it down to 25... however i cheated and picked 30!:) as soon as i get the edited images back i will post some on here for you to see.... and also the shutterfly card thing is not a joke i really did get my code for my 50 free cards... and it was super easy and there are no "strings attached"! are you board yet from reading all that? ok onto the fun stuff...
my little man got student of the week... i was one proud mommy! :)
we did our operation christmas child shoe boxes...
i love doing these and love to see what my kids pick out...
we had fun doing this as a family...
my little man got invited to his first friend sleepover...
he was so excited... i was a nervous wreck...
he had a blast... he is growing up :(
my baby girl sang at church last week...
i can't believe this is out last year to have a child in the pre school choir...
i love to see these sweet babies sing...
they are so cute!
my baby girl loves to sing and do the motions too...
on veterans day my dad went to the barbers motor sports and got to do the porshe driving school... he loved it and richard and the kids went to go see him race.... they loved it!
look out... he is a wild man! fast forward 10 years...
wow am i really going to have 2 that can drive in 10 years..
oh me oh my... check me in now!~
there goes grandaddy ready to race!
that pretty much catches us up for the moment... jackson and daddy are at the alabama game and i gave strict instructions that they better come back with some good pictures... or else... and brylee has a thanksgiving feast tomorrow and she is spending the night at a friends house tomorrow night too... they are growing up before my very eyes... so i will hopefully be back sooner than later with more updates!
Happy (almost) Friday and Weekend!
