Life Lately and a big ole brain dump....

life lately has been pretty boring... what is it about January... ugh i think it is THE. LONGEST. MONTH... i feel like we do the same thing everyday... the weather for the most part has been cold and rainy... i am so ready for spring, baseball, outside play, and flip flops...

brylee had a build a bear birthday party for a friend in her class friday night... friday night birthday parties rock... we looked forward to it all week... we had the best time just she and i... we went to the birthday party and built the cutest little peace bear... then we ate dinner in the food court... rode the carousal... we went shopping in a few stores... and got a cookie... she said "it is so much better when the boys aren't here"... ha!

lets talk about the galleria for a minute... i can not tell you the last time I have been there... there were stores there I did not even know where there... i follow a blog and the girl dresses so cute and she says she gets a lot of her stuff from Francesca's... we now have one... i only window shopped but i hope to go back soon for some new spring things... they had some cute stuff in the window! Also Crazy 8 the "knock off" gymboree has some really cute stuff too... i have never been in there either... brylee walked around the whole store holding up things and saying "this is so cute mommy... you can buy it for me I will wear it" ha! I guess now i know why i never go! :)

We are still playing basketball.... another thing on the boring list... not to mention our team is pi-ti-ful... we still have not won a game... bless jackson's heart he does not like to LOOSE EVERY. STINKIN. GAME... and he is about the only one that scores too on our team... we are all ready for it to be OVER so we can move on to baseball... :) brylee is lovin' her some cheer leading... this is her thing for sure... she walks around the house doing cheers ALL.THE. TIME... she just loves every minute of it... so at least most games we can watch her cheer which is better that 5-6 basketball...

* saturday night we had "Surprise, we're coming to dinner!" supper club with our sunday school class. We had a great time! We signed up with the coordinator if we wanted to be invited and if we wanted to host or not... then the coordinator sent us an email telling us the address of the house we were to go to and told us what to bring... so we show up at the host home and they don't know who is coming and we did not know who else was coming... it was fun!

* Running... oh running.... well lets see...

- i am having an issue with my left foot...what everyone, including the Internet, is calling plantar fasciists... apparently it is very common... basically the bottom of my foot hurts... not so much when i run but when i am done running and pretty much all day... especially when i first get up in the morning and when i walk around without shoes on... i have iced and heated it and took lots of advil and it is getting better... i am going to get some new shoes too everyone recommends that too just have not made it to fleet feet yet...

- i have run in the rain once... of course it was when i was the furthest from my house when it started raining... lovely

- i have run in the 32 degree temps... one morning with a toboggan on my head, gloves on my hands, and a sweatshirt... it was cold... and it makes it hard to breath when it is so cold...

- sunday might go down in history as my best run so far... i ran 5 miles (in 58.04) in a local FLAT neighborhood... and the weather was SO NICE... i could use a few more runs like that.... sadly enough it is getting COLD.AGAIN! :(

-all and all it is going really well... all things considered! :)

*Kids Clothes... lets see... it is trunk show time for sure... catalogs and invites are flying.... so here is what i think... not that you ask... :) - kelly kids... went to a party on saturday and i am usually a big kellys kids fan... i just don't really think i am digging it this season... i usually always get matching bathing suits and they changed the top on the one i normally get and i am not a fan of it and the other ones don't have matching sets... and the clothes... well they were just ok... i did not order anything... there are a few things i am considering i am not just dying for any of it?? -i went to a matelda jane party today... i was so excited they had some cute stuff for me and brylee... we both LOVED our MJ stuff last year and i love what we got this year too! - i have not been to castles and crowns yet... however i don't like the fact that they did not do a catalog this year... i am not sure that was a great move on their part... and the pdf is just hard to see... and the new knit line... i don't know that i am digging that either... i have only seen a few things and I have not liked the ones i have seen... red and black flowers for summer... barf... :) i will go to the show for sure but i sure hope they have some knock your socks off stuff b.c i am not feeling it right now! - i sure am glad i work for BBTN or my child might be necked... ha!:) - i told ashley she turned me into a clothes snob... :) i am so used to be able to change things up and order what i want that when someone tells me what i have to order... i almost can't do it... :) - i sure hope i find some stuff i like at some of these shows... because i just can't go to the mall and buy all this satin and glitter... - where else do you order from??? not that any of you are going to comment.... but it is worth asking! :) i think that might be all that is in my brain... i told you it was a brain dump! :)
