August 3, 2012: Beach Day 1

White Sandy Beach, Salty Water Air, Ocean and Sunshine... it had been WAY too long since we have been to the beach! We decided to make a quick weekend trip to the beach! We left at 5:00am Friday morning and were at the beach with our toes in the sand by 9:30am... it was glorious! We were so excited that our friends the Kallaher's and Humphries' were staying down the street and we got to hang out at the beach with them all day! So fun to hang with friends on the beach all day and Jackson and Brylee were excited to play with their friends too! We had a great day at the beach! This was the first year that our kids can actually "hang at the beach" ALL.DAY.LONG! We were out there from 9:30 to 4:00 with only a trip inside for a 30 minute lunch break! Since we were only there for the weekend we had to make the most of our time there!

After a day at the beach we came in and got dressed and headed to dinner. We tried a new place recommended to us by some friends... Cotton's. It was good food but TONS. We could not even eat it all... After the appetizer of crab claws, salad, and rolls we were full and our meal had not even come. But we managed to find some room! After dinner we called it a day... we were all tired from starting our day so early... I think we were all in bed alseep by 9:30! :)
