December 24th through December 31st

Wednesday, December 24th: Christmas Eve 

We enjoyed a low key Christmas Eve morning! Then we got dressed and had lunch at our friends Cathy and Randy's house! We then had dinner with my family at Nonnie and Poppies house! We had the ever popular pickle hunt game too! Then it was time to come home and get in our Christmas PJ's and head to bed so Santa could come!!! Oh the excitement of Christmas Eve!!! 

Thursday, December 25th: Christmas Day 

We all woke up to presents from Santa!!! Gogo and G-daddy came to see what Santa brought & then we all enjoyed breakfast together! After breakfast, we headed to GoGo and G-daddy's house to have lunch and open presents with them! Late afternoon, we headed to my Uncles farm to do Christmas with the Stonichers (which is where the above pic is from)! We are always busy on the holidays visiting friends and family and honestly I love it! I know some people don't leave their house and stay in their PJ's all day but that is just not us...

We are on the go! However you choose to do it; It's all about enjoying your family!

Friday, December 26th: fantasy of lights 

GoGo, Brylee and I went shopping most of the day! Then we met the boys for Pizza and then went to the Fantasy of Light! We had plan going before Christmas but it rained the night we were going to go so we couldn't go! The lights were good but it wasn't Calloway Gardens so once you been there it's just not the same! Still fun but not the same! The kids enjoyed the little "kiddy area" they had at the end and the adults enjoyed the hot coco and fire pit! We all sat and enjoyed and Jackson and Brylee ran around doing all the little activities!

Saturday, December 27th: Good Bye Christmas  

I love love love Christmas! I am always so eager to put up my tree and decorations and just enjoy! So I am probably an early Christmas decorator! I am usually working on my decorations around mid November and am fully decorated by thanksgiving! So when Christmas comes and it is over I am taking it down quickly! Today was the day for it all to come down and to be packed away until next year! We stayed home and I de-decorated and cleaned all day! Then we escaped from the land of garland and glitter to grab some CFA for dinner and do a few last minute returns and purchase while everything is on sale!

Sunday, December 28th: the last of the Christmas celebrations... 

We celebrated our last Christmas for the season tonight! We got together with Richard's dad side of the family! We all ate, played dirty Santa, and the cousins drew names and swapped their gifts!!

Monday, December 29th: Fun times at the mall

Jackson went to the lake with Granny and Pap Pap so it was just Brylee! She and her friend Cameron had been planning having a "play date"! So today was the perfect day! We went to the mall and went shopping, ate lunch at the mall, rode these super cute little stuffed animals, and they rode a "spiny ride" too! They had a great time and acted like they were 10 going to 20! I am sure there will be several "friendy mall dates" in my future! 

Tuesday, December 30th: Girls Just Want to Have Fun! 

Jackson is still at the lake so it was another girls day for me and Brylee! We met Katy and her girls for lunch at Zoe's! After lunch Brylee and I ran a few errands and then we treated ourselves to a Steel City Pop! Brylee got a gift card for Christmas and she has been dying to go so today was the day!!! Fun times... Enjoying our Christmas break!!!

Wednesday, December 31st: New Years Eve... Good Bye 2014!!!! 

We are living it up at the lake tonight with the kids shooting fireworks, eating soup,and hanging out in our comfy clothes around the fire pit! See you later 2014... Here's to 2015!!! Happy New Years Eve!!!
